Baltimore/Washington International (BWI):
Access: Can get crowded especially early morning. Best to have Pre-check. CLEAR can be a savior too as Pre-check gets backed up too.
Daven: Terminal A-B – no clubs but can usually find an empty gate. Also, if you have time, usually lots of empty space in C.
Terminal D – Club Lounge (Priority Pass/Amex access or paid day pass). Not great privacy. Gate D1 is usually empty, or go down to D30 – always empty, not used.
Food: Standard airport stores. Natural Store by gate D6 has most selection of energy bars, seltzer and good coffee.
Showers: There is a spa that has shower suites near gate D3.
Denver International Airport (DEN):
Access: Takes at least 15 minutes from airport entrance to clear security and take trains to gates. Also, airport is far away from any other civilization. WATCH OUT for speed traps all around the airport – especially by rental returns.
Daven: United has great clubs in terminal B. Also, if you go to second floor mezzanine (above gate level), there is a free lounge area with private kiosks.
Rental Cars: Takes a while to get to rental cars. There is an [expensive] gas station right before rental return if you forget.
Yuma International Airport (YUM):
Note: Only flights currently are US Airways from PHX, El Centro Imperial County (IPL) and Makulele Air.
Daven: On second floor of terminal is a quiet lounge area.

Rental cars: Now onsite and very quick. .
Los Angeles (LAX):
Access: ALWAYS under construction and traffic laden. Can take 45-60 just to get from rental car to terminal (especially if its terminal 4-8). If on a tight schedule, use cab or Uber. TIP: Can walk from Terminal 1 to any other terminal. Sometimes faster if you don’t have much to carry.
Daven: All terminals have clubs. Can usually find empty gate too. By United, gate 72 is great area if not in use. Also, the walkways connecting 6-7-8 are usually quieter. Terminal 6 is usually very busy. If you have time, the Pico area is only 20-25 min away.
Food: Coffee Bean in all terminals. Otherwise, standard.
Car rentals: All are pretty slow, plenty of gas stations on return.
Showers: None in 6-7-8
San Francisco (SFO):
Access: Large but very accessible. Traffic in area is usually heavy. Give yourself time. Quick monorail to/from rental cars. If running late to terminal 3, can get off at terminal A and walk across.
Daven: United has plenty of clubs. Also, many lounge areas that are empty or quiet throughout gate area. In G terminal (accessible from 3), the INTNL gates are great for privacy. Note: There is a TLV flight nightly at 9:30pm, can try for a minyan.
Car Rental: 76 gas located off exit on rental return (from 101 S, turn right, from 101N, turn left).
Showers: Before security, by G terminal, there is a store called Freshen UP. $25 for a shower suite (but could be worth it after a long day).

Food: Standard snack choices.
Car Rental: Car rental onsite, quick access.
San Diego (SAN):
Daven: Besides clubs, try hallway by phone on left of escalator coming up from security. No great places to daven though.

Terminal C - No great places to daven.
Food: Standard snack choices
Rental Cars: Rental cars onsite.
Showers: No Showers.
Access: Careful with Capitol Beltway traffic. Especially if returning a car. Pre-check and Clear upstairs, usually pretty quick. Airport is oversized and time to gets is unnecessarily long. Train is lots of walking or bus is slow. Need at least 20 minutes to gates. Multiple levels, can be confusing. Uber on middle level.
